Silencers

A simple way to quieten a noisy fan.

Silencers Silencers

The larger size RVK fans (150mm - 315mm) ideally need to be used with silencers to keep the noise down. A silencer is an acoustically lined metal tube, which bolts onto the fan. It is possible to drop sound levels to around 30% by sandwiching the fan between two. Use a fast clamp to bolt the silencer onto the fan. Please note these are the proper 600mm length silencers - not the 300mm being offered by some competitors!
