Air Filtration
Air filtration is possible using a combination of devices. We recommend carbon filters as the main control for air leaving the growing area, backed up with an ozone device.

Budget Carbon Filters
The filters we supply from Holland easily connect to an RVK or Acoustic Cabinet fan using the appropriate sized Fast Clamp. Match the filter to the exhaust fan for total air cleaning. Carefully wash the prefilter in between crops and use the refill carbon when your filter needs recharging. |

Uvonair Ozone machines
Very popular in Canada and the USA, ozone is an effective way of reducing the risk of disease. Ultra Violet light produces a steady flow of ozone, oxygen with an extra molecule attached. Ozone has the interesting characteristic of latching on to any airborne organic particles, such as smells, bacteria, and fungal spores, and oxidizing them. |

In-line Ozone
The UV-80H ozone generator installs directly into 8" ducting. It is adjustable for different room sizes or increased energy efficiency. It is easy to change from a high to a low setting at the flick of a switch. Intended for treating areas upto 5000 cubic feet approximately. The CD1200 fits 12" (315mm) fans, and is a much more powerful unit. Corona discharge technology means it is capable of cleaning the air from even the biggest of the box fans. Both these machines produce far less resistance to the air flow compared to carbon filters. |

Vaportech
Two sizes are available of these reliable, silent-running machines. The small unit is suitable for one lamp grow rooms, and works by filtering the air through carbon, and adding a dry oil. The large Vaportech is often used inside mortuaries. |

Phat Filters
You pay extra for these filters for a reason. They have a much higher grade carbon which means you physically need less of it - saving you space. Phat filters are approximately half the size of the dutch equivalents. The improved aerodynamic design creates less drag - saving your fans airflow. Best of all they last a lot longer - just look at the cubic capacity compared to a budget filter. |
