Hydroponics
Hydroponics is a soil-less growing technique used world wide to grow bigger plants, faster then ever before. Most of the groceries from your local supermarket are produced this way. It offers the potential to accurately control irrigation rates, pH, nutrient strength and content, temperature and oxygenation. Now you can grow like the professionals too! All systems come with full instructions.

Aeroflo
IN STOCK - The all new version of the classic Aeroflo system from General Hydroponics is now available. For those of you looking for the fastest plant growth attainable, and the highest yields, the Aeroflo delivers both in abundance. Plants are supported in moveable mesh pots, whilst the roots are suspended and bathed in a continuously re-circulating oxygen rich nutrient. Square chambers allow for better distribution of nutrients and oxygen to the root zone than ever before. AF28 measures 180 x 67 x 44cm; AF20 measures 130 x 67 x 44cm. |

Flood And Drain
Clay pebbles are used to support the plant as the root system is flooded and drained, allowing an influx of oxygen rich air. This technique can be more forgiving for those growers without the skill or time required necessary to achieve the results attainable to NFT growers. For producers of small flowering plants it offers the potential to rotate pots, and also to induce water stress for enhanced flowering. The systems come complete along with tank, frame and fittings (add pebbles and pots). See the tutorial for more information. |

NFT Grow Tanks
Officially the UK's best selling hydroponic system. These self contained, low level, coffin shaped tanks can fit just about anywhere, however awkward. Place units side by side to fit larger areas (eg. two GT424's for a square metre of growing). All NFT grow tanks come complete with pH down, pH test kit, spreader mat, pump and fittings, plus full detailed instructions. |
|
 |
NFT Header Tanks
Keep your NFT system topped up automatically from a separate header tank and give yourself more free time to enjoy the plants! The top up kit adds pH balanced water and dilute nutrient as the tank volume falls, avoiding any dramatic pH/cf swings which can adversely effect plant performance. |

 |
NFT Multi-duct Single
This is one of the most popular hydro systems for growers looking to fill larger areas. Each unit is a fully featured NFT system and comes supplied with pump, fittings, correx etc... The 5ft system is split into 3 channels, the 6ft, 8ft and 10ft into two channels. Typically growers use 1-2 lights on the 5ft and 6ft, and 2-3 lights on the 8ft and 10ft. Sizes shown are internal tray measurements - please allow an extra six inches for the external rim. Tank size 123ltr. |
|
 |
NFT Multi-duct Double end
Keep your work load to a minimum by sharing a nutrient tank between several trays. Fit an NFT auto top up kit and life gets better still! Tank size 123ltr. Supplied with all fittings, pump, correx etc... |
|
 |
NFT Multi-duct Double side
This is a very popular configuration as it fits most domestic room sizes. Tank size 200ltr. Supplied with all fittings, pump, correx etc... |

NFT Components
Why not put together your own NFT system? It's easy when you use the correct components and can work out cheaper on large scale missions. Select the tray size and use the correct number of stands for support. On the 5ft and 6ft use one tall stand, on the 8ft use one tall and one small, on the 10ft use one tall and two short. Get your pump and irrigation fittings, tank and correx and it's done! |

Flo-Gro
These freestanding units are ideal for growing either one large plant or three small flowering plants, to maximum potential with hydroponics. Clay pebbles support roots and nutrient is drip fed from above, offering good plant support and high levels of aeration. |
|
 |
Auto-Pot 1 Pot
These self-watering unit turns you into an expert gardener overnight! A smart valve automatically irrigates the plant only when required (do not confuse with capillary systems), and allows a dry period for aeration. The 1 pot system comes supplied with a 15ltr pot and a root control disk to prevent roots leaving the pot. Easy to extend - just buy another and connect the tubing to a reservoir (blue tub shown for example). Add the optional plant trellis for supporting heavy plants. Works great with soil or hydro mediums. Just add food and remember to top the reservoir up when it gets low. |
|
 |
Oxy Pots
At last, a low cost, easy to use water culture system suitable for growing one medium to large size plant. The root system is suspended in both air and vigorously aerated nutrient, leading to very fast root growth that you can actually see. The 15ltr pot comes complete with clay media and powerful air pump, measures 12 across, and has a water level indicator and drainage tube built in for easy maintenance. |

DIY Slab Garden
Build your own low cost rockwool slab garden just like our dutch counterparts do. The flexibility of the Aqua Trays means you can fit a system literally anywhere. Simply space the trays as required on a frame (milk crates will do) and position a reservoir and timed pump with drippers close by. Insert a slab of rockwool and position the cubes as desired. Either run the used nutrient back into your reservoir with guttering, or let it run to waste into another tank for disposal. You'll find slab gardens much more resilient than NFT/Flood and drain. |
|
 |
Auto-Pot 2 Pot
The same easy to use flexibility as the Auto-Pot 1 kit but now supplied with 2 x 8.5ltr pots and a 47ltr reservoir. It's all in the box - just choose soil or hydro substrate and add food. Easy to expand as well - just connect the tubing. Guaranteed to feed your plants for two weeks - book your holiday now. |

Rainforest 6 Site
IN STOCK - The all new Rainforest is a massive improvement on the old system, whilst still retaining the unique qualities that made it special in the first place. Unlike other systems using sprinklers or sprayers, the Rainforest delivers nutrients via a high speed spinning vortex, gently showering the roots with a super fine spray. IWS
The IWS Flood and Drain System is a highly developed hybrid ebb and flow system, which works by flooding from the bottom of each individual 10.3 litre pot.
The system uses gravity to send water to the pots and only uses pumps to fill and drain the main 25 litre control bucket.
This has two quality magnetic float-valves mounted inside to control the power to the pumps in both the tank and the controller bucket.
These floats control the flood level in the growing medium precisely to stop any over watering or flooding.
As the water is forced through the growing medium, it expels all the stale air in the medium surrounding the root ball and replaces it with fresh oxygen as it drains away. |
